收到学校录取通知书。最后做出决定去哪所大学就读，通过比较学校排名，奖学金等。尽快通知学校你决定并寄回他们需要所有表格，这样他们就可以开始为你签证做准备。
回信通知其它学校你已决定前往某某大学就读，感谢他们给你这个机会。
资金准备：将资金存入一个美国银行账户；并确保自己有足够钱应付机票和其它生活费用。
安排住宿（校内或校外）和医疗保险等事宜。
6 – 8月
向美国使馆提交签证申请；
作旅行计划；
联系学校国际学生办公室，告知他们你何时抵达，并确认学校是否提供新生校园导航服务；
确认你已经完成所有离开前手续及准备。
